Yamaha Rhino Accident: Wrongful Death

According to the KSBY story that quotes Fred Pritzker, the 12-year-old girl from California was "crushed when the Yamaha Rhino she was on rolled over and landed on top of her near California Valley." The story this Yamaha Rhino accident goes on to state that "At least four other children have been killed on Rhinos and dozens have been seriously injured."

The girl's father was cited as saying, "The slow speed my daughter was going when this happened and I saw the tire tracks, it tipped really easy."

"They have a high center of gravity and they are top heavy and they do have a well demonstrated propensity for rolling over," attorney Fred Pritzker was cited as saying.

The story continues, "Lawsuits filed against Yamaha, the maker of the Rhino, allege it has design defects making it dangerously unstable, including small tires and a narrow frame."

Yamaha has initiated a Yamaha Rhino ATV recall involving Model Year 2008 Yamaha Rhino YXR450 and YXR700 Side-by-Side Vehicles that may have defective brakes. Yamaha has not initiated a voluntary Yamaha Rhino recall involving the Yamaha Rhino 450 and Yamaha Rhino 660 vehicles manufactured since 2003 that have an allegedly defective design that is allegedly causing the Yamaha Rhino rollover accidents.

Yamaha Rhino Accident: Personal Injury
